About AIO

Lenovo

Lenovo (formerly known as "Legend") was founded in 1984 and was the first company to introduce the home PC concept to China. In 1997 they became China's largest PC manufacturer. In 2004 Lenovo took over IBM's PC & laptop (ThinkCentre & ThinkPad respectively) division making Lenovo the world's third largest PC manufacturer. The acquisition was completed in 2005 and IBM now holds an 18% stake in the Lenovo. Since acquiring IBM's PC & laptop division Lenovo has earned top rankings for quality and design, customer satisfaction, and has sponsored both the 2006 Tornio Olympic Winter Games and the 2008 Beijing Olympic Summer Games.

Lenovo segmented their product offering and created the "Idea" series of PCs & laptops for personal and SOHO use while keeping the "Think" series for small to large business. In addition, Lenovo has added Workstations with the ThinkStation product line, and small to mid-sized business servers with the ThinkServer product line.

We have used Lenovo exclusively in our own environment since 1999. While many of our customers may have started out using other PC hardware, over time we have been able to migrate their aging PCs to Lenovo.
